Reason for being with WP88.7: I had the opportunity to start my training with Libido Latino and then became the host of the show where I get to play the music I like and interact with the audience. Libido Latino brought many memories of my childhood and the music I used to listen to back in my country so I love doing my show because it brings me closer to those great memories (; So listen every Saturday!!!
Hobbies: I love and enjoy going to baseball games and
any other sports events, concerts, I love dancing, hanging out with
friends. I'm also a workaholic and love spending time with my family
and working with the community. Right now I am part of a Women Build
with Paterson Habitat for Humanity and this has become a great experience
meet other hard working women who want to help the community.
Career Goals: My goal is to be part of the radio business, improve my skills and gain more experience to one day be part of a major radio station in the United States not only reaching the Latino community but to be a good representation of my culture in the US.
Best Advice Ever Heard: "I can do anything I set
my mind to"
List of Favorites:
Phrase - "That's Hot" "That's Super"
"That's pretty cool" "That's pretty Hot" "That
is so mean" "You know what?" "Can I ask something"
and the list can go on and on..
Book - Las Memorias de mis putas tristes by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Movie - Man on Fire
TV Show - I don't watch a lot of TV!!! I listen to
the radio instead….That makes me feel much better. But I actually
enjoy The 1 st 48 hours, Curb your Enthusiasm and the Discovery Channel..I
know, a little boring.
Food - Traditional COLOMBIAN food...Ummm (; Now, I'm
actually learning how to eat other types of food so I could say that
I enjoy vegetarian food, Japanese, Italian food, Cuban and Dominican.
Artist/Band/Group - I can't say that I like one artist
or band, I enjoy any music genre, from the 80s to new music, salsa,
merengue, traditional Colombian music, Spanish Rock, alternative Punk,
classic rock, techno, Mexican music, dance, RnB. Rap, Reggae and many
more. I feel that I have to open my eyes and ears to new things and
don't get stuck in only one category. I always like to expand my learning
experiences, especially when it comes to music which I enjoy a lot.
